I'm Tulsi, a design researcher focused on UX and service design.
I am a user experience researcher at Blink, where I apply my systems-thinking perspective from lean manufacturing to understand how people use products and services.  After graduating from Duke University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, I spent 5 years as a Manufacturing Engineer leading product quality and systems design improvements in the energy sector. Driven by the belief that human-centered design should be applied across all stakeholders - including those responsible for assembling products - I went back to school, earning my MS in Design Impact from Stanford University. There, I spent a year researching end-of-career transitions, designing a service that proposes an alternative to retirement.
If you're interested in talking about service design, retirement, or what it means to use a lean toolkit in design research, please reach out! I'd love to hear from you.
